June is coming **Bonnaroo 2016**

I love festivals. I think it started when I saw the Grateful Dead in Highgate, VT back in '95. My buddy Cannon and I had to park 10-miles away and hitchhike the rest. We had decided to go at the last minute and the rest of our crew was already in place. I found their tent, by sheer luck, and left a note and then I found them in the concert field! #epic #nopicturesbackthen

I realize that this wasn't a festival but the experience was very similar. The camaraderie and free spirit got me hooked. I caught Phish during their Clifford Ball and NYE 2000 shows and again found it to be total fucking hippie magic. When I found Bonnaroo in 2007, I found an amazing experience with a similar vibe that I could revisit each year and even improve upon my own experiences via new information or equipment.

This year will be my 9th visit to the Farm and I can't flipping wait. I don't spend as much time on my Bonnaroo-related projects as I like. (Gotta pay the bills and all.) But when the lineup announcement rolls around and then the late night artists or additions, I get tingly. As June gets closer each day, I get more excited. Whose in? Do I have the equipment? Money? Ahhhhh! I can't wait to figure it all out.

In the meantime, I love to read through my past experiences and get inspired for the year ahead. Perhaps you do too, so here's a list:
