The crazy coo-coo clock atop the tower is going off. It goes off at random times, playing random remixes of different tunes like Star Wars and The Loveboat. The roof opens up and a mechanized bird creature pops out. I have no idea what it all means but it is loud and awesome.

Raylon and I are heading out into the camp sites and onto Shakedown Street, away from Centeroo. Lots of vendors and people.

We stop in at the URBARN. They offer the ability for you to silk screen stuff on articles of clothing. (You provide the clothing.)

Today is four degrees cooler than yesterday and we get occasional cloud cover but it is still hot. The dust coats everything. I buy some gifts. We go back to the site to rest and hydrate.

2:30 pm

Got a nice shady spot under a tree to watch Bruce Hornsby and then Gregg Allman, both of whom play back-to-back at the same tent. Both are fantastic. I get a frozen mocha latte at Gepetto's. It is unbelievably refreshing. We walk to This Tent to see Cold War Kids. It's crowded and dusty. The Kids rock it out.

Robert Plant starts at 6:00 pm. We're to the right of the stage, not too close so as to have easy access to the other stages. The last few bands playing now are all really good and play at the exact same time. I'm a huge Plant fan. His show is awesome but I only stay for the first half. I leave to catch The Strokes at the Which Stage. The sound is still an issue but not as bad. Finally, we stop at That Tent for the Superjam with Dr John and Dan Auerbach. I realize, this is my last show of the festival.

Widespread Panic is actually the last band, but my tradition of not seeing them holds up, though I witness both their sound and incredible light show from the campsite. They end somewhere around 11:00 pm and the line of cars has already formed as the mass exodus begins.

Chinese lanterns were the big fad again this year, Sunday night in particular saw a lot. They are not allowed as they can potentially start fires and security gives chase on golf cart to the pyros lighting them. They show up about 10 seconds after I take the picture below and they are not happy. I grab a beer and watch the action.

We loved Bonnaroo
We loved Bonnaroo

Space clears out in the fields. The wind picks up. I hand out my remaining Bonnaroo Chris stickers to cars leaving. We don't bother packing much as we review the awesomeness of the weekend. We can pack tomorrow. The line of cars leaving is endlessly throughout the night. Everyone celebrates. Eventually, we sleep.

Problems this year:
 - It was way, way overcrowded.
 - The Which Stage had serious sound issues.
 - The wristband scanners didn't always work.
 - The garbage left behind is staggering amd awful.

Things that were awesome:
 - The people. Everyone is so happy.
 - Lots of healthy food options this year.
 - Food truck row, including the Taco Bus!
 - My Five Finger Shoes were so comfortable!
