Bonnaroo 2016: Thursday
SUN RISES 5:28 A.M. SETS 7:59 P.M.
High Temp: 82°F Low Temp: 52°F
I'm up at 7am and there's already a line at the porta potties and showers. It goes quick and I grab some breakfast out of my cooler. Before long, it's time to go into Centeroo. The ShelterBox Tent is ready to go by 9:30 or so. A quick inspection reveals the new bathrooms to still be locked. Guess, they're keeping them fresh until the last possible second.

I walk to the entrance and find a group waiting to be first into the festival. They each get a sticker. It's after 11:30 when the gates open and people start rolling through. The ShelterBox USA Tent is popular, plus lots of folks are looking for me to get their sticker. It's a great energy for the beginning of the festival.

My shift ends and it's off to get lunch. I sit under a shady tree to eat some delicious tacos and enjoy the roolife. Then it's time to find the Broo'ers Tent for my first meetup. It's a picture perfect day, sunny and breezy. A cold beer sounds perfect.

After my second meetup at the Broo'ers, I realize that I missed a wedding in Groop Camp. :(
I wander and start looking for shows.
