The concert featured on stage guests and acts, including Ben and Jerry, two trampolinists, a woman swinging on a rope.
The event offered scores of food vendors, a general store with basic necessities, wandering ice vendors, and nearly 1,000 porta potties.
Other unique features included carnival rides; fireworks; wandering jugglers and stilters; flights overhead by random aircraft, including two planes pulling banners with silly sayings like "Help... We're out of fuel... Seriously...". Random music acts included a classical violin quartet, a blues quartet, a choral quintet, guitar soloists, and a full orchestra. Movies in the camping area included Phantasia on Thursday night and cartoons and The Rocky Horror Picture Show on Friday.
The event is named after aviator Clifford Ball, whom the band learned from a plaque in a Pittsburgh-area airport. The plaque memorialized Ball with the epitaph "a beacon of light in the world of flight."
